As alternative health practitioners offering psychotherapy, we work in private practice. All treatment will be based on a contract of treatment between you (the client) and us. The cost of treatment will always be the client's responsibility.
Please contact your health insurance provider for information on coverage of costs prior to the start of treatment. Services provided by health insurance companies are not uniformly regulated. In any case, you, as the client will be responsible for payments, regardless of whether you will be reimbursed by your health insurance provider later on.
A lot of private health insurance providers will cover the costs of treatment by an alternative health practitioner. What is decisive is what the person insured and their insurer have agreed on in their contract. Again, it is advisable to contact your private insurance provider before beginning treatment.
The cost of psychotherapeutic treatment by an alternative health practitioner is generally not covered by the statutory health insurance (Gesetzliche Krankenkassen). There may be exceptions to the rule. Please contact your health insurance provider for information on reimbursement of costs prior to the start of treatment.
Members of the statutory health insurance who have also purchased a supplementary insurance for alternative health services may get reimbursed for the costs of treatment by their supplementary insurance provider. Please contact your supplementary insurance for information on coverage of costs prior to the start of treatment.
